Coastal Weddings has partnered with Sunshine Coast Air and Paige Lorraine Photography for couples who want to add a little adventure to their elopement or wedding! Experience floatplane flying with pick up in Vancouver at YVR or Vancouver Harbour, or from Sechelt, or customize your wedding on the Sunshine Coast with fly in service to resorts, private docks or beaches.
Adventure Wedding locations accessible by air:
Fly to the sandy shores of the Thormanby Islands, with calm waters and white sand beaches stretching as far as the eye can see. These picturesque islands are located 17 km west of Sechelt, on a sprawling spit with sun-bleached driftwood and sloping sand cliffs along the beautiful island coastline.

Say ‘I do’ at the world-famous Chatterbox Falls at the end of B.C’s Princess Louisa Inlet. The scenery is incredible with the waterfall cascading down the rocky cliff, majestic granite-walled gorge, and snow-tipped mountains rising sharply from the water’s edge to heights in excess of 7000 feet. (3 hour experience)

Get married at Chatterbox Falls and then fly to a gorgeous and remote glacier lake with a beautiful mountain range as your view… right here on the Sunshine Coast of BC. - Romantic ceremony location at either Thromanby Island, Chatterbox Falls or Alpine Lake
- BC Marriage Commissioner and two witnesses (be sure to get your license prior!)

- Photographic coverage leaving from the dock, during flight and 1 hour on location and an online album filled with gorgeous wedding photos of the two of you

WANT TO BRING OTHER PEOPLE TO THE ADVENTURE ELOPEMENT THAT ARE MEANT FOR 2 PEOPLE? You can bring more people by chartering another aircraft. The plane fits 6 people and is filled with your planner, photographer, marriage commissioner, pilot and you. An additional plane can bring an extra 5 people along – please enquire for pricing.Coastal Weddings & Events puts together unforgettable, all-inclusive weddings and elopement packages for couples on British Columbia’s Sunshine Coast. We will give advice, make suggestions, and present options, but the final decisions are always up to you because it is your day. Our team is ready to help you pull it all together from the linens to the flowers to the vintage décor and antiques or other design elements.
Additional Services Available: Hair and Makeup at a local salon or at your location, romantic dinner, live musician, floatplane tours, massages and spa services, yoga classes, kayak/paddleboard or snowshoe rentals, professional DJ services, transportation for your guests, and more.
