“Melissa is amazing! From the time we first booked her, I had absolutely no regrets! It was so worth it to have someone in charge of the décor on our wedding day. The wedding party was able to relax the morning of the wedding, with full confidence that she knew what she was doing. Once we had booked the décor package with her, she quickly arranged a phone conversation to go over every little detail (some we hadn’t even thought about) and looked at my pinterest board to pull together a “décor plan” which she emailed to me. She had a very clear idea of what we wanted from the beginning and did not disappoint on the day of the wedding. The bouquets were beautiful, the arch for our ceremony was absolutely stunning, the head table and the rest of the tables at the reception were decorated beautifully, and we had many, many comments about what a good job the decorator did and how beautiful the flower arrangements were.

Melissa also went above and beyond what we had expected, offering to set out the chairs for the ceremony when we found out that the venue was charging for chair set up, as well as offering to place fresh sunflowers on our cake. Other little touches we appreciated were the fact that she has her own floral department so we weren’t dealing with a third party, also that she offered to use some of the same décor for the ceremony and later moved it up to the reception (to save us some money), and we loved the games she brought for both Friday and Saturday night (giant Jenga, bean bag toss, etc.). Her husband came to set up and man the photo booth all night and did a great job (even though it was their own wedding anniversary that evening!). She worked hard to make everything perfect, and spent extra time getting the sunflowers on our ceremony arch “just right.” She is very laid back and easygoing, as well as accommodating to requests. I would definitely recommend Melissa if you are looking for a decorator on the Sunshine Coast! Well worth the money!!”
