This June I had the honour of working with Caroline and Igor during their waterfront wedding at Pender Harbour Resort. It was a perfect summer day for a micro wedding with overcast skies that keep guests cool.
A Glimpse Into A Micro Wedding On The Sunshine Coast
Caroline & Igor’s wedding day started with a romantic micro wedding ceremony on the deck of Pender Harbour Resort. During the planning, Caroline asked Coastal Weddings to design her flowers for the day. So, I put together florals for her wooden arch, bridal bouquet and flower frown with blush pink and white tones. Her go-to wedding flowers included pink and white roses, white peonies. For this micro wedding, the arch was draped with white drapery and finished with lush greenery and florals. Caroline wore a floral crown with white garden roses and her bridal bouquet included white peonies, white roses and dusty pink roses.
After the micro wedding ceremony, the couple joined their family and friends in a champagne toast on the deck of Pender Harbour Resort. One of our favourite moments was watching Caroline connected with guests who could not attend via facetime. It was an emotional moment to remember, there was not a dry eye to be found.
Caroline and Igor moved down to the docks with Paige from Paige Lorraine Photography for romantic oceanfront photos. This Sunshine Coast wedding location was the perfect combination of oceanfront views, West Coast foliage and seaside marina vibes.
After the newlyweds finished their wedding portraits the couple along with their family and friends move inside for a seaside dinner at the Pender Harbour Resort. Later in the evening, Emelle’s catering provided a delicious dinner on the deck, while, Nougatine provided a petite wedding cake that paired perfectly with the couple’s wedding cupcakes that had pink icing.
