Eliza and Chesters Adventure Elopement at Thormanby Island & Chatterbox Falls

Eliza and Chester’s west coast wedding took place on an overcast Monday in August. This adventure elopement features two breathtaking elopement locations on the Sunshine Coast.

Their day started at the docks of Sunshine Coast Air. Where Eliza and Chester had an intimate first look together. After their first look, the couple were greeted by family and their dog for some family portraits. After family portraits were complete the couple and our team then boarded the floatplane in preparation for a day full of adventure.

Stop Number One- Thormanby Island

The first stop for this adventure elopement was Thormanby Island. Thormanby Island is one of our favourite adventure elopement locations on the Sunshine Coast. Known for its beautiful sandy beaches, this island is a rare sight in British Columbia. During our time on the island, Eliza and Chester said their vows during an intimate beach wedding ceremony.

Stop Number Two- Chatterbox Falls

After Eliza and Chester’s beach wedding ceremony their adventure elopement continued.  Chatterbox Fall, a true Sunshine Coast hidden gem was the next stop for this couple. The falls are located in the heart of Princess Louise Inlet and it’s only accessible by boat or plane. This untouched piece of nature is a dream destination wedding location for any West Coast wedding. Soon after our arrival at the waterfalls, Eliza and Chester enjoyed some magical wedding portraits by Paige Lorraine Photography.

To cap off this adventure elopement the bride and groom made it official on the floatplane docks. There, the newlyweds celebrated with a champagne toast and micro wedding cake.

It was an honour to work with Eliza and Chester for their adventure elopement, which was filled with some of the most gorgeous sights on the Sunshine Coast.
